Garth Pierce graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a B.Com Financial Accounting degree, majoring in Financial Accounting, Auditing, Management Accounting and Tax. Garth worked as an Admin Clerk prior to joining Insight Customer Solutions in December 2012.Garth is a Senior Customer Experience Analyst and HelpDesk Co-ordinator, as well as the IT Administrator.
Amy-Jane Ross studied B.Tech Marketing at CPUT and graduated in 2010, majoring in Marketing, International Marketing, Strategic Marketing and Advertising. Prior to joining Experience Worx, Amy-Jane worked as a qualified Assessor and Moderator in the Hospitality Industry and conducted various training programs with an accredited CATHSSETA company. Amy-Jane is a Customer Experience Analyst and Trainer.
Nangamso Xengana studied Bachelor of Arts at UCT, majoring in Dance from 2010 to 2013. Prior to joining Experience Worx as a Customer Experience Analyst, she worked as a Marketing Researcher. She is currently studying HR.
Bongani Matabane is currently studying BA Communication Science degree at the University of South Africa, majoring in Organisational Communications and Media Studies. He joined the team in July 2016 as a Customer Experience Analyst. Prior to this, he was a Customer Service Associate and he has been in the customer service industry for over 8 years.
Brandon Fester graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA, majoring in English and Drama. Whilst studying, he worked as a part-time Transcriber and Lead Customer Experience Advisor. Post-graduation he worked as a UX Research Intern and Data Capturer prior to joining Experience Worx. His current position is Customer Experience Analyst.
Mavis Dlule is our Receptionist, meeting.space assistant and general assistant. She is the longest serving member of the team, with over 15 years’ service.
René Sim matriculated from the Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool in Pretoria in 1981. She graduated from the University of Stellenbosch and holds a B.Econ degree with majors in Industrial Psychology and Marketing. She joined South African Airways, where she was able to combine her love of travel with her passion for facilitation and training. She joined Strategy Management Consultants, as a consultant, in 2000. In 2007 she became the managing partner of Insight Customer Solutions, a member of the SMC.group. In December 2012 she became the owner and CEO of Insight Customer Solutions. Insight Customer Solutions rebranded to Experience Worx in January 2015. Experience Worx offers an integrated approach to improving/enhancing Customer experiences. Though René is based in Cape Town, work is done nationally and across borders. René has built strong Client relationships over the years and is proud of and humbled by the company’s impressive list of Clients (past and present), including iconic brands such as Southern Sun, Sun International, Nando’s, Cape Union Mart, The Body Shop, Cape Quarter Food Spar, Game, Ocean Basket and many more. Her aim for the company is to offer real value that enables Clients to improve their Customer experiences through Experience Worx’ impressive and tested suite of products and services. Internally, for the Experience Worx team, her aim is for work to be a positive, happy place where team members can grow, develop and reach levels of excellence they never thought possible. René has extensive experience in the Customer experience field, exhibiting a wide range of skills from focus group facilitation, implementing real-time research projects, Experience Blueprinting, through to developing customised service strategies as well as developing and facilitating training on all levels and running one of the largest Mystery Shopping Programmes in the country. René has also facilitated various team leader and high-level large-scale interventions countrywide. She underwent extensive training in advanced facilitation under a leading facilitation specialist – Roger Schwarz – in the USA.
Thando Mantsha matriculated from Sea Point High School in 2005. He graduated with a BCom Management Sciences degree from the University of Stellenbosch in December 2011, with majors in Marketing Management and Financial Management. He joined Experience Worx in March 2012 as a Customer Experience Analyst. Since then he has completed a University of Cape Town GetSmarter course in Social Media Management. Thando is a natural leader and has been gaining experience in all aspects of the business. He is our CX-Prism Dashboard specialist and also assists with marketing and research.
